About Us

Simon Fanthorpe has over 30 years experience of working with Fork Lift Trucks and is an experienced qualified Fork Lift Truck Instructor/Examiner based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and covering Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

He has also been involved in a Managerial capacity within a Warehousing/Logistics environment, for companies including British Airways and Britax, for most of his working life. Twelve years of this was spent serving in the Royal Air Force, home and abroad.

This experience is combined with being a LearnDirect Fork Lift Truck Tutor, and an NVQ Assessor specialising in Fork Lift Truck, Business Improvement Techniques and Warehousing and Distribution training.

The roles of Tutor and Warehouse/Logistics Manager enable him to understand fully the needs of the Learner and the Employer, as well as understanding the importance of addressing Health and Safety issues in the workplace when dealing with Fork Lift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment.
